Not sure if webm, videos, and gifs are all under the command the SprayMesh_EnableVideos console command, because I've set that to -1 (hard disable), but can still see Vizzy's gif.

ok I figured out why i cant craft low grav deathmatch,
you gotta drag the deathmatch fun round to craft before the low grav one, the other way around wont craft

sup i have one thing of feedback. Needing 5 refined stack to make a key should be changed to 3 or 4 and thats all...

I sold all my keys for $1.45 wallet cash on the 27th......i feel like a was fucked in the ass... FailFish BibleThump

oh I just moved the garrysmod install to my ssd and I noticed when connecting it still downloaded 2dworld related assets
you said you got rid of 2dworld so you should remove those maybe

Key production has been reduced down to 3 metal stacks.
They will not be reduced any more and will be staying at 3 stacks now.
Sorry for anyone that crafted keys in the time inbetween but I am not going to "refund" you.

Also cleaned up those debate posts because the situation was resolved.

Keys: Changing the key price in the shop to $2.50 is fine. Making it so crafting new keys reflects the new shop price is also fine. But when you also require 2 of the same crates that is when I think you are starting to get a little greedy. I would roll back that change, and see how the economy goes. See if shop sales increase enough for you to be happy. If they don't you can always change it back so people need the same # crate to produce a good result.

Market: I also read how you want the Devolved key to be more worth while. You have to raise the market ceiling so people feel like they can use Devolved currency to get their moneys worth out of an item. That currently isn't the case so the currency itself really doesn't have much value. People more or less just have a fire sale when they are transferring currency. People need to be able to get 100 keys for an item on the market, 100k dev bucks, and 100$ wallet cash. I guarantee people will value the currency more when they don't feel like they need third party currency to cash out all the time. Plus it means people keeping their items more which means more long term players. People like having special things to log on for.

Devolved east/change: Lastly if you really want to churn more money out of Devolved change Devolved east into Devolved west #2 but instead make it a server that supports player skins. Tack on a 10$ vip program per month which allows players to use them. The server isn't currently being used anyway what can it honestly hurt? I think you might be shocked when people start playing on it almost immediately. The "I hate special skin crowd" can stay on the original server. Why should people have to go to Serious TTT to get that experience when they want to play on Devolved?

i dont really like how you need 5 stacked metal, i would prefer if it stayed at 2 stacked metal. My weed disappears after a new round too so now its more difficult if i try to grow weed ;(

It's moreso to actually decrease shop sales.... we receive enough donations in all honesty. I am hoping it makes it a bit harder to spam buy keys.

The new crate crafting requires players to trade a lot more. If you have a crate 16 and crate 12 then you look for someone who has a crate 16 they want to trade.
I could care less about donations. We have thousands of dollars for Devolved alone and the server isn't going down anytime soon because we can't pay something.

My job is not Devolved. I don't think people realize this. I make well over two thousand dollars a month off ads across my 8 websites/projects, combined with ScriptFodder sales and server hosting that I offer on other websites. Devolved is nothing compared to that. Devolved has never been about the money.

It's been a learning experience for me programming and community wise. Something I can put on a resume. That's the point of Devolved. Not money. At this point we don't need money and could literally disable donations. We have so much money I have nothing to spend it on. I have an extra deposit section on my bank account labeled "Devolved" and it has a shitload of money in it that rarely gets touched. In fact it's gained a good bit of interest as well.

I've raised the market caps in the next patch for tonight. I am going to allow managers to unlist the stupid overpriced items though.

Two things I want to point out here. I completely agree with you on one of them.

Honest truth...
The $100/month-ish Devolved pulls in is nothing Rage. I hope you realize that. I make a lot more money outside of Devolved.
The cost of hosting Devolved server/website/backup services/various other things makes the profit very low.
If I was in it to "churn money", I'd dump Devolved and sell all the code on ScriptFodder. That'd bring a ton more income than simple server donations.
You act like I care about money. I have a lot of money in my bank account and I live with my parents right now only paying for gas and (half of) the internet.
I have been saving my money for almost 6 years now, early in high school. I could move out at any time but I have the nicest parents in the world so I'm staying here for awhile longer.
My stance on life has always been to save all of my money until I can afford everything I want. I'd rather live in a small apartment and save for a long ass time.
So there's a chunk of Jackool's life.

HOWEVER, I do agree with you that East coast is completely unused and kind of silly to pay for.
Does Devolved really even care if there are skins? I feel like a lot of the hate towards skins, hats, cosmetics, etc is just social.
Like, "Robby hates hats so we should hate them too!" - but maybe not.

If I added hats and skins would everyone hate the server? Probably not. But I don't know.

I honestly believe if I do what you said, and make a second #2 West server with cosmetics, perks for leveling, etc, people would literally only play that and the entire "no hats! no playermodels! no perks!" would be ditched forever. Even though it makes things imbalanced: it's just a lot more fun and adds a lot more replay value to the game if you actually get something for leveling up, or can put a derpy hat on your head.

I am not 100% sure though. 50% of our community is super serious and stresses rules and crap. The other 50% is mellow and chilled. That percentage is probably way off but you get the point. A fun server where the rules are more lenient, things are more derpy and funny, and there are retarded T/D weapons would probably go a long way and make everyone stop the fighting and drama.

Actually I thought about it Rage and you just came up with a genius fucking idea where no one could complain since there is the option to play without it. Thank you.
I am most likely going to stop paying for East and create a #2 server with leveling perks/cosmetics/etc. It's a big risk but I think it'll work out.

It was changed to 3 metal stacks. It isn't changing again though.

You should put the East only crate/items in that crate in West then.
The East crate will probably stop dropping and become rare. Take that with a grain of salt though.

THe last bit about changing east around. yes. that would be great. i proboblly would play it more then the old west server. and i would love retarded t and d AND even maybe inno weapons. were a inno can use credits off of a body. like in 420 ttt server. it was really big, then the owner let it die.

I don't think pots should be removed after every round in specRP. (At least that's what happened when I grew weed) Sure, I can see some good coming out of it, like drugs becoming more valuable, but I feel that my pots would be removed all the time when rounds end. Overall, I wouldn't want to spend 300+ devbucks on something I may not get anything out of.

(At least that's what happened when I grew weed) Sure, I can see some good coming out of it, like drugs becoming more valuable, but I feel that my pots would be removed all the time when rounds end. Overall, I wouldn't want to spend 300+ devbucks on something I may not get anything out of.

Oh yes, sorry about that. That's fixed in the next patch. I noticed this myself and found it annoying. I commented out a bunch of code and didn't mean to comment that part out.
